actually runs better on linux than on windows. I had no problem at all and finally I can play this masterpiece without any crash!
Unfortunately I could not try the multiplayer as not enough people are playing the game.

Was able to play through the entirety of Rogue Warrior using the latest proton experimental build without any issues at all. All the dialogue, cutscenes, and even intro logos worked. Did not try the multiplayer at all, but the single player ran perfectly.
This game works better on linux than any other platform.
Despite being a total garbage fire, the game miraculously works perfectly. Although I can't ever in good conscious recommend this game to someone, it does work perfectly on linux. Although multiplayer functionality does work, you might end up waiting for a very long time to join a game due to the fact that nobody plays this.
Games runs great. However, there is no dialog which is the best part of this game. I would honestly avoid this game entirely regardless.
