Native version works

Native version has glitchy black squares/artifacts. Running under proton has no issues.

Switched to proton.
Artifacting (black on the bottom half of the screen) when running native.
Native appears to be broken

Controls are varied, you can use touchscreen, touchpad or even joystick but I found the latter far too imprecise. Decided to play virtually the whole game on my desktop because nothing quite emulates a mouse, but this is very playable (especially with the touchscreen).

works great on Deck start to finish, using touchscreen was a fun way to play

Fully playable with a few minor black artifacts (in particular in the first few minutes of activity).

Native Linux port has graphical issues which makes it unplayable. Just use the proton version, it works perfectly anyway.

Using native version, my screen was half black and half the game.Had to force 5.0-10.
Weird Graphical Bugs, Disappeared When Using Proton GE
Capped TDP at 3W
Even while locked at 3W TDP, there were almost no performance issues. The only small slowdowns were when burning 10+ items at once. Completed the whole game on 1 charge, with over 20% battery left to spare
Yes, Proton 7.0-3 works fine. Don't try native.
Only something in the start screen, but it was so small that I barely noticed it. On native that "something" becomes a strong buzz on my left speaker.
As of May 10th update you need to rename/remove some libraries in the game files to fix some bugs, works perfectly afterwards
Older release of the game worked perfectly, they messed it up a little with the latest patch but it works perfectly after those two tweaks mentioned. Forcing the Steam Linux Runtime using a tool like Steam TInker Launch could also fix it
Native and works like a charm.
Played the game start to finish, getting all the combos. It plays absolutely flawlessly on Deck, and I had 0 issues with controls, audio, or performance. Game stays at 60fps the whole time.
Native port is great but works just as well under Proton
Native is capped to 60, so there may be framedrops if you're burning a lot of items (same thing happens on macOS and Android). The game can't be locked to 60fps with DXVK as it doesn't seem to use Vulkan, libstrangle
might work but I haven't tried it. The game runs at an excess of 500fps for me so no framedrops encountered, but I didn't test very long. Stutters a little when you tab out of Steam, but no real issues preventing you from playing comfortably with Proton.
The native port is probably better, though.
