Forced Proton 9.0-1 compatibility
Selected Xbox controller for Player 1 in launch menu
Initial run brought up launch menu but then game failed to launch. Switched compatibility tool to Proton 9.0-1 which was released just today, and it ran fine.
protontricks 217790 -q winxp vcrun2008 dotnet35
I ran "protontricks 217790 -q winxp vcrun2008 dotnet35" first as others suggested but I don't think it made any difference. I tried it with other Proton and GE-Proton versions but that command always failed probably due to not having winbind installed and my Deck crashed while trying to install winbind so I gave up on that. I came back several weeks later and tried the latest GE-Proton (8-27) which worked right away.
protontricks 217790 -q winxp vcrun2008 dotnet35
Not much else to say, just install protontricks if you don't have it already, then run the protontricks command from the terminal.
protontricks 217790 -q winxp vcrun2008 dotnet35
Jogo não inicia
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Jogo não inicia, nem abre a tela... Mas consegui abrir as "Opções".
I get the launcher then nothing
Installs some dotnet stuff, then I get the launcher which sounds like it might be an improvement based on past reports. After the launcher nothing happens.
Crashes right away
Tried emulating different Windows versions (7, 8.1 and 10), no difference.
Doesn't work
I bring nothing new. Basically won't boot to show anything, the process just shuts down. No luck with trying launch options either.
Could not get it to start at all.
Won't start.
Does not start with either Proton 3.7-8 nor 3.16-4 nor 3.16-6 Beta.
