Runs fine after using Protontricks. Without it, latest Proton raises `shader: failed to compile vertex shader`. The weakest of the series.
In Protontricks, run a command line shell and execute protontricks 205060 d3dcompiler_43 d3dx9_43
. The game should now run on the latest Proton with no issues.

- Removed the
deps
folder from the game files before first run - Launched the game once and let it crash
- Installed the following components using protontricks:
d3dcompiler_43
d3dx9_43
openal
Crashes on launch out of the box, but can be fixed with the steps described. After that there are no issues at all.

Other Bit.Trip games with the same startup error can be fixed by using GE Proton, but in this case it doesn't work.
As previous report states, installation and setup requires removing the 'dep' folder before first run, running once to set up the WINEPREFIX and then running 'protontricks 205060 d3dcompiler_43 d3dx9_43'.
Needed this personally, as i don't have Vulkan
protontricks 205060 d3dcompiler_43 and d3dx9_43
- Remove the "Dependencies" folder
- Run the game once to let it fail
- Run "protontricks 205060 d3dcompiler_43 d3dx9_43" in a terminal.
