After initial setup it runs pretty much flawlessly

Tinker Steps:Changed configuration, protontricks
  1. Removed the deps folder from the game files before first run
  2. Launched the game once and let it crash
  3. Installed the following components using protontricks:
  • d3dcompiler_43
  • d3dx9_43
  • openal

Crashes on launch out of the box, but can be fixed with the steps described. After that there are no issues at all.
