Rockstar Launcher works out of the box with GE 9.11, remembers the login just fine. Resolution has to be changed from 800x600, runs 90 fps.

Rockstar Games Launcher crashed the first time I opened the game and it required me to re-login each time I opened the game. Mildly annoying.
Audio crackling upon waking up from sleep mode.
The game started at a higher resolution then the Steam Deck, had to fix it in-game.

Had to glitch into the Rockstar Launcher setup screen. You might be able to get there easier in desktop mode. once it's setup, it works fine everytime
Getting 90FPS and about 4 and a half hours of battery life on Steam Deck OLED on max settings

Borked since Social Club launcher update, need to manually change to proton 8.0 or experimental as 7.0 is set by steam.
I changed the refresh rate of the screen to 40hz and allowed tearing

Remedy launcher should be installed. Just use the touchscreen.
Just set in-game graphic settings the right resolution and aspect ratio.
Worked at 60Hz but changed to 40hz refresh rate (without any issue)
Just a detail: does not use full available space on the screen (maybe because of native game resolution ratio ?)
When I initially installed this on my Steam Deck it was marked as (?) Unknown if it works on Steam Deck.
It plays great for me. Controls, graphics, 60fps, all great.
Now for some reason (as I type this) the game is marked as Unsupported!
I've no idea why, I just loaded it again to make sure, loaded my last save game, and played for a bit. Still runs and looks great, and supports Steam Deck controls as standard.
Seems as good as "verified" from my perspective!
Love the Max Payne games.
Also love being able to go back to these older games, on my Steam Deck.
Proton works so much better than I'd even hoped.
Thanks.
I ran the game with the new 40hz mode
