60fps cap in QAM, allow tearing
70-90fps is attainable, at cost of battery life. Plays fine at 60fps. Env/load distance/textures to high, PP/effects/AA/Shadows to low. Supports 1280x800 too!
Used to work for about an hour, now just black screen on startup.
Tried a few proton versions. Sadly no luck.
I was coming from iPhone and playing it that way was an aweful experience. It would dip in frame rate, and would crash upon playing the first boss.
I did not experience anything like this and happy to report, so far so good. It was very smooth playing the first boss and very minor sips. I launched with proton experimental and Downloaded through the steam app on desktop mode.
Rare lag; otherwise perfect
When looking for secret items, the game would sometimes lag from 144 down to around 45 for 2 or so seconds like it was loading something. Same would occur when entering new areas for the first time. Otherwise perfect.

My PS5 controller was detected and would vibrate but button inputs wouldn't register.
