Game works fine if you want to play local coop only. Remote play together is broken.
Steam remote play together / steam link was not working. Steam overlay opens in the "preparing game" window that EA launcher displays before loading the game.
I tried using gamescope, disabling steam overlay, and disabling EA overlay. Nothing helped.
If you want to play local coop only, the game should work just fine.

I didn't have any problem playing. Remote Play Together works well, there is lag at long distances but I consider it normal.

Broken
Broken since the Launcher was added.

Runs perfectly on 4k TV without any tricks or twicks
I wandering why game have only gold mark. It runs fine out of box, no needs any adjusments

Tried with Proto GE-Proton-9.23, 8.1, Hotfix, Experimental and 9.0-4. 8.1 shows the EA login menu for some time then fails to start.
Doesn't run
Local multiplayer with two 8BitDo Ultimate 2C controllers. Works out of the box.

Borked since they added their new DRM in december 15
Tried everything older comments recommended here
Works out of the box

Works overall very great.
Some ratios don't work properly, the solution that worked for me was starting the game from steam big picture mode. Getting the game to open on a monitor other than your primary doesn't work either, so I tend to switch my primary display to the one, I want my game to run on.
Controllers didn't get detected unless started in Steam big picture mode. In big picture mode it worked perfectly.
Sometimes controller and character in Game don't align, to change that you can open the settings and switch the "keyboard" (which is the second controller). Back in Game the player one character has to move first.
I recommend for playing with controller and to get the right aspect ration by default to start the game via steam big picture mode.
for var in $(printenv | awk -F= 'length($2) > 2000 {print $1}'); do export $var=$(echo ${!var} | rev | cut -c 1-2000 | rev); done ; %command%

install winetricks via desktop mode store and give it permission, restart, click on unravel two, a popup will open, install a dll, install quartz
you need space on your steam deck internal storage to play the game even if the game is on your sd card
does work in the end but is frustrating to figure out how to run your 5 dollar game

Extremely slow startup
Steam Link/Remote Play only works after disabling the Origin overlay.

DXVK_FILTER_DEVICE_NAME=RTX RADV_PERFTEST=gpl gamemoderun %command%
As my laptop has integrated graphics + a dedicated nvidia rtx gpu, the DXVK_FILTER_DEVICE_NAME=RTX environment parameter is mandatory

for var in $(printenv | cut -d= -f1); do export $var=$(echo ${!var} | rev | cut -c1-1000 | rev); done ; %command%
On my system, some environment variables were really long and prevented the game from starting (EA launcher still started though but showed an unexpected error at launch). I managed to get it working by using a custom launch argument stolen from GitHub. Otherwise, the game works perfectly without any issues.

Freezing during tutorial and later with fire (perhaps associated with death screen) required force quitting/relaunching
Froze consistenly at water section of tutorial, then later at fire on street, refunded.
Refunded

Simply works great.
Used 8bitdo pro 2 controllers, works great
It's a fun game to play couch co-op.
EA laucher opens and stays empty. Sometimes, part of the launcher appears, but not all of it.

Cloud saves do not work (EA app)
The probability that the game makes it past the EA launcher is less than 10%
After adding the needed flag everything works fine. The flag is probably needed only for PCs with multiple GPUs.

Only good if you only want to play this with friends in the same house as you. Steam remote play is borked.
Tried to use steam remote play but can't open steam overlay. If the remote play session isn't started from the steam overlay and is started from outside of it then it will say that the stream is paused cause you are not tabbed into the window.
Finished game without issues
Played with dualsense controller connected via bluetooth
Works flawlessly. Graphics are nice and the game feels like it's designed for the deck, aside for that EA launcher that needs to be fixed.
The game loaded slower because it had to wait for the EA launcher to start.
I've previously played Unravel I on the deck, so the EA launcher was already installed and I was signed in. Surprisingly, this one starts slower than the first title. It took a minute or so to get past the EA launcher (you'll see an almost empty screen with a loading spinner). Every time I opened the game it was the same. Actually, 1 or 2 times the process stopped altogether and I had to press the START button again. It then loaded fine; slow, but fine.
Anyway, it's a great game for the deck!
EA Desktop launcher showed up and took some time to do things. I had already logged in when launching Unravel 1, so I don't think I had to log in again. Otherwise, you'll need to use the touchscreen a mouse and keyboard to sign in. On the bright side, if you previously played on Origin/EA Desktop, your cloud saves will be synced from there and Steam achievements will be automatically unlocked! After the launcher finished, I was stuck on a white screen for quite some time, but the game did eventually start.
Once I got past the EA Desktop launcher, the game seemed to run great. I was getting a solid 60 FPS without changing any settings. This surprised me, as it's better than the performance I got in Unravel I. I only played for a few minutes to try it out, but it seemed like everything was working perfectly. I loved this game when I originally played it on desktop, so I'm hoping to find time to play it again soon. If I get more playtime in, I'll update my review with any additional issues I find.
Not able to pass EA app launcher
I tried everything from past reports, like removing V folder and removing compatdata. Maybe the problem is with the new EA app that replaced Origin launcher. The weird thing is that I can play the first Unravel even with the new launcher.

Can't use controllers, no way to play co-op
Controllers not detected. There is no way to play co-op and steam overlay does not work, so can't use remote play together

renamed "steam/steamapps/common/UnravelTwo/D3D11/V" to "steam/steamapps/common/UnravelTwo/D3D11/noV"
The game won't launch until you rename the aformentioned "V" folder, after renaming it runs excellent.
Origin installs fine, but when running the game Steam thinks it runs but nothing really happens.
Doesn't work.
Works out of the box without thinkering
Steam/steamapps/common/UnravelTwo/D3D11/V renamend to "noV" requires lib32-nvidia-utils
Origin Starter does not execute
renamed the folder v containing the videos
Game is not playable
Renamed "V" directory in "~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/UnravelTwo/D3D11" to "noV"

Removed all DLL overrides in winetricks (Launch winetricks -> Select "Select the default wineprefix" -> "Change settings" -> "alldlls") Enabled quartz using protontricks (with "protontricks 1225570 quartz" command after installing protontricks)
Origin screens overlay the game and are hard to close.
Using GE Proton and renaming the V -> noV makes this game run perfectly. Finished the game twice.

Löschen des Verzeichnisses: "steamapps/common/UnravelTwo/D3D11/V"
Renamed V folder and game worked great
