Launch with DX11 option, and everything works fine.
When using DX12, sometimes the game would drop to 5 to 10fps and stay there after exiting the menu for skills and inventory etc. On DX11 everything works as expected with no issues.

there were some very minor audio issues and bugs. but i believe it has more to do with the game its self. other than that it works

I've played 11 hours of pure joy. Any issues I've had a small, and seem to be resolved now.
Some cut-scene audio seemed to drift a tiny bit out of sync but I haven't seen it in a while.
Steam REALLY doesn't want to Sync these saves, for some reason.
Initially some light, intermittent stuttering but this was resolved with the 555 Nvidia drivers (Explicit Sync)
When I tried Experimental as someone here suggested I started to see UE4 crashes. Going back to normal Proton seems to have solved this.
I've had a great experience with this game but then I'm on bleeding-edge Arch. Others might struggle if they're behind the software curve a bit.
Tried out the demo, everything worked fine. Both dx11 and dx12 worked but I had better performance with dx11.

I can very much recommend this. Proton/Linux just works. The game is fun.

Performance issues on the deck would be frustrating for gamers accustomed to a stable performance.
Loading screen tips and tutorial window text is very hard to read
FPS drops to mid 20's later ingame, especially during firefights
Tutorial window videos do not play. Instead you get a static image of SMPTE color bars.

EN: As soon as you switch to the menu in the game by pressing ESC and navigate through the menu with Q-E, the game freezes. I fixed it after switching to DX12. Can be done in the properties of the game, in Steam.
Notiz:
DE: Die von mir verwendete Startoption nutze ich bei all meinen Spielen, bis auf die nativen.
EN: I use the start option I specified for all my games except the native ones. :-)

Performance similar to the demo, but the menu bug is fixed!
Initial observation is that the intro cinematic (note I had motion blur still on) had some framedrops. Intial gameplay area solid 60 FPS on High detail settings
TDP 10W gpu lock 1200 mhz 30 FPS

Played the demo for a little more than 35 minutes (combat and exploration) and it ran flawlessly. I encountered no bug
Some stuttering (expected given my hardware + it looks like there's no shader pre compilation), apart from that it was fully playable.
