IMPORTANT: I was able to get rid of the said sound problem by opening up PAVU (PulseAudio Volume Control). When opened, it won't have the "timeout". So this might be a better option than playing a video in the background. I generally have to do this quite often and it works wonders.
Works without any problems now. Playing it nearly every day without any degradations or any other issues.

You might want to add "WINEDLLOVERRIDES=winedbg.exe=d" to the launch options or, like me, go for the GloriousEggroll version of it (4.21-GE-2).
Due to the fact that "Gold" means, that the game works after tweaks, I am using "Platinum" rank. It does have some stuttering going on when loading new environments. Though it doesn't happen often. The game runs smooth so far, with no crashes or problems, other than those already mentioned.
Disabled Esync, D3d11 and used Wine D3d11. Didn't start at all.
Works out of the box. Just be sure to activate the mouse, if you want to play with it. :)
Crackling only came up when using Steam Broadcast so far. Probably has nothing to do with the game itself.
Alt-tabbing locks the mouse in the window.
The game works. Under Windows it has better performance and there is some stuttering when using Proton, but overall it is enjoyable!
No configuration required for me. Works out of the box. Pretty good performance and no crashes yet.
Works very well. Does have less FPS than on Windows, but there is nothing game breaking, nor tweaks to go for.

There are some fonts missing so far. Available skill points aren't being shown properly.
