The Internet connection needs to be disabled before accessing the main menu, otherwise the game will crash. It can be enabled again after launching the game.
It runs very well for the most part, but has graphical glitches in arena fights for example.
In case Uplay refuses to start, my workaround is to delete the proton profile and let steam re-create it. Also all the notification settings in Uplay should be turned off for a better experience.
86 hours on Manjaro Linux without any tweaking. Constant 60 FPS on high settings. Keep up the great work!
1- Settings.exe requires dotnet472 and does not work with Proton for me, even with the Steamworks Common Redistributables package installed. To workaround I use Wine-Staging with dotnet472 installed to set up the game.
2- The game will crash when entering or navigating through the main menu. To workaround I disable the internet connection.
With the above mentioned in mind, the game runs very well on highest settings.
