Mostly good experience, just remember to set the refresh rate to 40hz for the most consistent fps
40 fps + 7w tdp in overlay, will get you just under 3 hours of battery life with medium settings
The intro doesnt work (black screen with audio) when fullscreen in gamemode, however selecting windowed mode fixes this issue.
Happens rarely but waking the deck from sleep or after a few hours of playing, the game will say the controller isnt being detected, although most of the time it still works despite the message.
Occasional stuttering from 60fps down to 30-35fps on medium settings at native res, where windows can handle locked 60fps @ 1080p on same hardware.
If overlay is open on right side, the fps jumps to locked 60fps and gpu usage is increased, very strange behaviour.
Had 2 crashes early on, before using cryoutilities, which isnt a lot but its weird its happened twice.
If your connection is bad/unstable, the game's time scale with jump up and down which is very strange, fixed by going into horizon solo but this might also be a game problem unrelated to linux? unsure, but it makes it annoying to play online while on public transport.
After my last report, the stuttering/slowdown is almost completely gone and fh4 is now playable at constant 60fps on high :) thanks valve
TDP to 10 at high settings seems like a good sweetspot for 60fps
Videos still don't work if in fullscreen, so turn it off.
