I capped the steam deck frame rate at 40 fps for better battery performance. Weirdly, lowering graphical settings actually made battery life worse
changed the refresh rate of the display to 40Hz
By default it installs the Linux version which doesn't recognize the steam deck controller. I fixed it by forcing it to install the windows version and use proton. After that, there were no issues.
The game works well if run through proton, but Valve needs to have that be the default since the Linux version does not recognize the controller, as stated earlier.
The game works perfectly; I completed about 2 and a half runs on the steamdeck with no issues at all
This game is fantastic and I highly recommend it. The controller configuration takes a little getting used to but it's great once you get the hang of it
The game works perfectly and a controller actually is surprisingly good for the game. I get very good battery life out of the deck when playing it, too
the game runs well although controls are not adjustable in-game which may be frustrating for some
I lowered graphical settings since they were at the hardware's limit
The default control scheme uses the shoulder buttons for attacks which I found to be a little awkward when holding the deck, but other people may not have an issue with it and I will probably get used to it over time
It works very well other than the minor issue I mentioned. Looks great, gets 6-7 hours of battery life on the default settings.
Sometimes the game would freeze for a fraction of a second. Never much of an issue, and I don't know for sure if it's a thumper problem or a linux problem or a steam deck problem.
