After some minutes, some game screens (research screen and empire map) have glitches or just display a black screen. Sometimes saving/loading fixes it, sometimes It goes after restarting the game. At rare times the main menu where you save load or quit the game isn't displayed
Game crashes from time to time into desktop. I am not sure if that's emulation or just standard behaviour like most mid 2000s games. I'll say that it crashes about once every 40 mins average. Remember to enable autosaves! Loads super fast
Game runs flawlessly. The only bug: It won't close normally and you might need to stop the game from the steam client, or kill -9 it. It'll also freeze while trying to access a website from the game (like if you try to upgrade to member). Works from the steam page.
My computer surpasses the recommended system by a league, even if it is low spec, so I am used to choppiness and low graphics, despite it running cool. This game does the opposite: It is not too choppy, (you can see some sluggishness sporadically), but turns into an electric heater with jet fans as I play the game. Windows users also complain. Might be a DRM issue: Playing this game from DVD makes it work as intended. Problem is in the Steam version.
Same as older reports: Main menu works AOK, start a game fine, but as you start the map the screen won't refresh.
Tried with the intel IGPU and radeon discrete graphics with radeon free drivers
The game runs lovely. You'll probably need to lower the graphics quality. Same in Linux as on Windows!

Tried both windowed and full screen. No music/sound Might help to know how to play midi music with Proton....
Game reports as running on the Steam UI, but it doesn't really open
No window is created or destroyed. Game simply reports it runs without doing so. If you run top, you can see the process Yakuza0.exe running and using 100% CPU, but waiting does nothing.
