Game starts up and plays without issue. Great out of the box experience using Proton.
There appears to be an introductory movie that can't be skipped but does not display. It doesn't affect progress and is fairly short. The in-game cut scenes seem to work fine however.
I bought this game just to see if I could fix it. I used protontricks 312010 dotnet472. I also used used "xna31" but I'm unsure if that was needed, it just allowed me to see that dotnet was needed. Now it runs fine.
Run it for the first time using proton 5.0 so the protontricks installation works, then you can switch after they're installed.
Had to use "protontricks 261760 wininet" to get it past the menu. I also had to initially start into proton 5.0, then run protontricks to get around an "access denied" error. I was able to switch back to 6.3.6 after that.

Cutscenes are almost universally broken. You can sometimes skip them and get to the game but more often than not it just hangs at the end of the cutscene, forcing a restart.
Something with the cutscenes, no matter what version I use, causes crashes
On startup it mentions that my GPU isn't detected and not up to date. It runs slightly better if you turn off tesselations.
It's not there yet. I've had to put it down with the crashes, which sucks because I got decently far into the game.
After about chapter 4 it loads but crashes
Crashes in random places. Pulling up the soundtrack in the ship has crashed the game multiple times. After about chapter 4 my the game crashes immediately after loading the game.
It's a great experience for about 5 minutes but it's impossible to play past that point right now

config.xml tweaks to turn off the movies
Game started windowed and would not make it to the menu until I changed that in the config.xml file
You can get about 5 minutes of play until your character uses a phone app, it goes to a black screen and hangs there. I haven't found a way around it yet.
