Am unable to join multiplayer sessions, known issue per: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/3957
Some FPS dips when something new is on screen that is not in shader cache yet, example: the red ghosts that show parts of the story. Runs perfectly for the rest.
firing range + multiplayer working, intel 2500k/rx 56, ubuntu lts with padoka unstable ppa, kernel 4.20.6 via ukuu, 50-60FPS, using borderless @ 1920x1080, using epic settings, no supersampling
Controller fix (menu does not work):
-go to SteamVR Dash by pressing menu button on Knuckles controller
-Manage controller bindings
-Active controller binding->Default to Custom
-Choose Another
-Search for the "The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Active Sprint while Right Trackpad" custom binding and press View
-Select this Binding
Works with Proton 5.0.3! Select custom controller binding to fix menu
-Make sure you use Proton 5.0.3: go to the properties of the game, check
"Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" and select Proton 5.0.3.
AMD users only: Make sure you have latest Mesa and enable ACO, I use the Kisak PPA:

If you're thinking about a 5 euro coop game via Proton: don't, singeplayer works.
Immediate EAC kick on attempt to join friend's session.
Don't fall for the 5 euro price if you want multiplayer online coop via Proton, singleplayer works fine, stupid EAC.
