Worked without issues
This was a Day 2 install and the only issues encountered were connection failures when joing multiplayer missions that is affecting all PC players on release
I followed the same EasyAntiCheat hack as other posters:
- Install Apex Legends
- Copy easyanticheat_x64.so provided by Apex Legends into Outriders cp /steamapps/common/Apex Legends/easyanticheat_x64.so /steamapps/common/OUTRIDERS/EasyAntiCheat/
I didn't need to modify the launch options but it didn't break anything when I did add it
Randomly the cutscenes will start while playing audio and only showing subtitles on a black screen. The video will start after a few seconds or when a new custscene is loaded
No major issues when applying the hack to enable EasyAntiCheat on linux. This could break at anytime depending on the level of effort/indifference by Square Enix
I was able to play co-op for a few hours with no crashes. I referenced other reviewers and enabled "Large Address Aware" from the start. On the initial start, I still can't see my character on the main screen but I've never had an issue in game. One major issue I run into is that the the FPS will drop to <10 fps during level transitions which can be resolved by toggling fullscreen via settings (or i3wm) OR I have to restart the game.
I was able to connect to a dedicated server with no problems
matchmaking was flawless with no issues. Fully responsive when grouped with others
Ran with the DX11 option since my hardware is mid-range
