Sometimes the game just stops launching. Full Steam restart solves the problem (in some cases you need to do it again). However when you are in game it runs with no issues at all.

Update on Cyrillic input

I managed to get Cyrillic input working with the launch option above. Some advises:

Make sure ru_RU.utf8 (change if your language is different) locale is installed and enabled in your system.
Languages that have characters that don't exist in English have the same issue. Just use the appropriate locale.
Some Cyrillic locales do not solve the problem, use ru_RU even if you are not from Russia (at least it helped for me but you can play around with this).
Similar problem occurs in some other games as far as I've learned. This solution should probably work for them too.
Don't forget to install mfc140 and mfc140u DLLs, otherwise Gwent will not launch.

Little Nightmares II

Has minor bugs, but generally runs fine

Game always crashes when specific jars are broken. Luckily there are just a few of them throughout the game.

Significant Bugs:

Very rarely some key items (levers, hammers) are not rendered at all (still possible to interact). Can be fixed by restart.

I'm not sure if these bugs are Proton-related or are a wider problem.

P.S. I tried only Enhanced Edition.
