No issues launching and playing the game.
Playable but tedious
The Black Desert Launcher is just a black screen, you are able to enter your code if necessary and select region and press play, however, you have to do it all blind and know where to press each button which can be a hassle especially when selecting your region.
Another bug is when you use the minimize feature in Black Desert while running GNOME. After minimizing in the game, you are unable to return back to the game by clicking the indicator icon.
After the change from EasyAntiCheat to XignCode3, you are finally able to play Black Desert on Linux with some tedious bugs that hinder you in the start, but can be very much playable once you get it running and are in the game. I would say that the launcher bug with it being black screen is the most tedious, but after that it's smooth sailing mostly.
With that said, it does not mean that Pearl Abyss won't just revert their decision with the Anticheat and make it where Linux users cannot play. But overall, this is a steady direction for compatibility on Linux, and I look forward to see what happens from here.
Played Perfectly
Enjoyed playing under Linux, no issues aside from tiny visual bugs like the monkey cursor.

Only crashed once while playing.

Only when on the bike.
Was caused by visiting the momentum ability screen or driving the bike. GE Proton fixed these issues mostly from what I tested.
