Lowering the resolution to 960x600 saves a good chunck of battery life. Game is still cristal clear. Graphic settings on "high", frames limited to 30fps. Important: Disable Vsync ingame!!!

Works great on the steam deck. The steam version needs to run without "next gen graphics" to solve the texture flickering. If you have the GOG version, use Proton 7.0 to get rid of the flickering, even with "next gen graphics" switched on ...
With the newer proton version, the second level of the game has major framerate issues, It gets unplayable. Changeing to 4.2.9 solves this problem at least as far as I played the game. When you cahnge the proton version, you need to reinstall the game, because otherwise you get an error message, saying that there is no "Uplay" installed. After reinstalling, everything should work fine. Some audio is missing, but the overall experience is good enough to enjoy the game ...
