The game crashed after the launcher, even though i followed the advice on https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/csxaza/how_to_play_enderal_forgotten_stories_with_proton/ I fixed this by setting the resolution from 2560x1440p to 1920x1080p
The audio is definitely unnerving by crackling way too often

Crackling audio can be fixed by adding 'PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=90 %command%' to launch options in steam
windowed mode doesn't work
The camera can only be turned in one direction properly by mouse so you cannot turn properly in this direction.
The game stutters all along. The camera con only be turned in one direction properly.
Videos don't play
Fixes mentioned in here were tried but didn't help.
dsound was deleted, ini was changed, different Proton versions installed. I hear the sound of the intro video but then a black screen flashes on and off for a while until ending in an access violation.
Performance is very poor compared to windows
