Works fine for me!
Game switched to window when I choose the option in the menu but I got a black screen with audio still running. As for the black screen I had to terminate the game and start it over, then it started in fullscreen again without problems.
It runs as fine and smooth as I can expect on my hardware. Perhaps a smidgen slower as on windows if you want to be grumpy ;-)
Download install did not start. New install from old Windows backup triggered an download. No problems since, runs as expected.
No problems but a bit audio crackling in the beginning. Runs fine for me.

Black screen when starting the game.
No problems with installing the game. But when I started it I got only a black screen without audio. Nothing happened after that and I had to shut down the game. Used Proton experimental and now Proton 6.3.

tried out another proton version, this time 3.7-8. Got the same as before, black screen at startup, no sound, no reaction on mouse or keyboard input. Quit game after a minute or so with ALT + F4, got a message, that the program was busy and typed yes for quitting the game.
Installed an old Windows backup without problems. Runs fine without problems!
The typical gamer has not an Intel HD Graphics 4600 when playing Skyrim, so, yes, it's working for the typical gamer ;-)
had to tast at least two times the respectible button to take something up or to toggle walk/run
looking around or change of walking path got sluggish with SKSE and one mod (Live Anywhere - Constructible Shacks)
