only played a short map against AI. Worked flawlessly (low performance due to my specs and the alpha stage of the game).
stuck at initialising
Game is not playable at all. Game starts but either immediately quits or you are stuck at the starting screen with an error that says "Failed to retrieve the platform authentication token". There is one discussion on steam which discusses this error but unfortunately hasn't got a solution which is working for me. I tried with the standard proton (no forced use of a specific one), Proton Experimental and Proton 8.0-2.
using Proton 6.3-5, worked flawlessly (played tutorial and two campaign missions). no tinkering required

could do the tutorial without problems. When deploying to the first "real" mission the game crashes
did not try multiplayer but just the intro campaign - everything worked nicely as it should

worked flawlessly until the immortal empires update. I only have tried playing the Immortal Empires campaign in Singleplayer so your experience may vary if you play other campaigns
