Fullscreen makes the game unbootable
Finally it seems to be working relativly stable with the latest proton experimental. Just make sure that the game is -not- in fullscreen or else the game wont be able to boot again. Bordeless window works fine for me.
It didnt detect my xbox one controller.
While the native port didnt work for me. It works fine with proton experimental as long as you use keyboard and mouse.
Missing Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime in order to run the game.
Its probably fixable but its not a plug and play experiance

Download VC_redist_x86.exe and VC_redist_x64.exe from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
On Steam, select Add a Game > Add a Non-Steam game...
Select the downloaded file
Go to its Properties and force Proton Experimental.
Run the file
Follow its instructions (This will create a directory in /home/UsernameHere/.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/).
Go to Pacific Drive Properties and in its Launch Options add: STEAM_COMPAT_DATA_PATH=/home/UsernameHere/.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/insertwhatevernumberVC_redist_x86UsesHere/ STEAM_COMPAT_DATA_PATH=/home/UsernameHere/.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/InsertwhatevernumberVC_redist_x64UsesHere/ %command%
Dont forget to change the username and compdata folder to their proper names.
