Ran perfectly with no issues over 4.5 hours.
A few missing textures on a couple maps
Overall very playable. Just some missing ground textures on Utah and West Coast USA, as well as some modded maps. Not frequent and it seems to be limited to just certain ground textures as I have not been missing any other textures.
Performance was not too great given my hardware, but this was most likely due to poor optimization rather than Proton due to it being in early access. 1080p max settings stayed around 60-70fps, with rare peaks of 100. 1440p max settings, could barely surpass 60fps (it is noted in the settings that the game is not optimized for high resolutions)
Odd that 5.13-6 was the only version that worked. The rest were either unplayably slow or crashed on startup. Very few issues on 5.13, only had occasional crashes that may or may not have been a Proton issue as a friend on Windows also had occasional crashes.
Initial heavy lag, resolves itself after about a minute.
Unplayable at startup for about a minute, resolved itself afterwards.
Changing physics rate crashed the game.
Tried all native Proton versions + some GE versions, could barely get past title
Tried with all native proton versions, as well as: Proton-5.9-GE Proton-6.1-GE Proton-6.12-GE Proton-6.4-GE GE-Proton7-20 GE-Proton8-13
I was only able to get to the title screen with versions 8.0-3, Experimental, Hotfix, and GE-Proton8-13 I was able to load in twice, crashed (full system crash) a few minutes in at the same spot (after the machine digs through the wall). I tried more times than I bothered counting aside from those two times and it crashed upon on starting a new game. Verified file integrity, passed. Not playable, getting in at all is rare.
