The game doesn't boot anymore on X11
The game worked perfectly fine before this update. Now it just starts with a black screen after processing vulkan shaders and crashes. I tried running it on Wayland and it had an amazing 3 fps, unable to load past the first menu screen. Im not sure if it's the games update that borked it or the fact that I updated fedora right before but the game no longer works.
I also don't get why it says I'm using freedesktop, I use Fedora 40 workstation...
It was buggy before but currently works real well. I dont see any delay or graphical glitches and even nvidia reflex works in settings with no setup.
Works almost flawlessly
When loading into a playthrough, after picking the character, the resolution will often be on 1080p max. I have an ultriwide monitor of (3440x1440) and I have to go into settings and change it every time. For some reason it just doesn't save that setting.
Everything works well aside from that ultrawide bug.
The game runs smoothly and there is no detrement in multiplayer aspect especially when you're the one hosting the world. Only issue I've had so far is it doesn't support ultrawide monitors but I believe thats on the game and not the fact that its running on linux.
Not much to say. It's a simple game working well with friends.
The game crashes before showing the main loading screen
I have tried to run the game using Proton experimental and Proton 8.0-5. I also tried on both Wayland and Xorg but the game still can't load.
Runs well, just as it should. I had some issues on Wayland but on GNOME X11 it works just fine without any tinkering. (aside from me using forced experimental for all games)
I force proton experimental on all my titles and it worked like a charm. No preformance drops whatsoever, played with a friend, no lag, no delay. Great experience!
Can't log in on Wayland no matter what I do
The game boots up but in order to play, you need a Microsoft account. I want to log into my Microsoft account but it isn't possible to do it on wayland. I tried many of the fixes other people used and I just couldn't get it to log in. Since I'm on GNOME, Fedora 40, I can't seem to find a way to run X11 instead of Wayland so looks like I won't be playing until this gets fixed...
