Runs perfectly out of the box. Chose to play with mouse control rather than deal with the weird mapping the game gave my Logitech joystick, but this is a common problem with all older Novalogic games that are pre-programed for specific flight sticks and don't allow re-mapping controls.
Runs out of the box with no audio or visual issues. Played the first(tutorial) mission to completion. Picks up my Logitech Extreme Pro joystick as well, but as with other NovaLogic games the default axis mapping dosn't match up (throttle gets set to my rudder!) and you can't change it in NL games. Thankfully this game plays very well with Mouse & keyboard.
Launched with no issue. Intro video played and was stoppable with no audio issues. Menu works and settings can be adjusted. Works out of the box with default 3dfx graphics settings, and also worked when set to DirectX. Max res of 1024x768 a little low by today's standards, and joystick mapping is weird for my Logitech Extreme 3d Pro, but "just worked".
Seems to work well out of the box, but the are some minor texture glitches on the robot arms over cars. and the sound gets scratchy after an hour or two. Gameplay seems unaffected otherwise.
Appears to run perfectly out of the box at first glance, but there are some graphical artifacts/glitches on the robot arms when they move over cars. Also the music will stop and the sound will get scratchy after an hour or so. Gameplay is otherwise unaffected, no performance issues for framerate drops.
It just worked, no tinkering or settings changes from a fresh OS install.
The hitching and stutter when loading new terrain while riding a train was more pronounced than on Windows.
The shader compiling when launching takes ages, but no issues after that.
