I was pleasantly surprised to see it launch and run without any issue
I experienced the same desyncing and random disconnecting I did on Windows 10
The game actually runs better with Proton. The only time I experienced any fps drops was while in areas like Leyndell.

Same random crashes you'd get on Windows
Modded the game with Vortex launched through Steamtinkerlaunch. Only installed mods that improved performance like bug fixes, anti crashes, and NVTF(fixes stuttering, improves performance, and fixes physics with frame rates above 60).
It just works.
No issues experienced during long multiplayer sessions
Runs almost as well as it does on Windows.
Minor stuttering
FPS caps at 60 when using multiple monitors with mismatched refresh rates. (144, 60, and 60 in my case.)
The only time I experienced worse performance was while playing the Simulacrum mode. It's not significant enough to be unplayable.
r2modman works seemlessly to mod the game
Runs great without issue after a quick fix
After beating the first boss the game would display a white screen then eventually freeze my entire pc trying to display a cutscene. Deleting the folder containing the cutscenes solves the problem. ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/RoboQuest/RoboQuest/Content/Movies/
