Usedto run quite well. After a recent update to the ea app, it crashes on launching. tried multiple proton versions

Game launches, gets to main menu, and then hard crashes SteamOS, and the Steam Deck reboots itself.

Game launches fine, and I can get to the main menu, but then the screen freezes, sounds go, and about 2 seconds later the screen goes black, and then I get "Verifying system installation", indicating SteamOS has crashed and rebooting itself.

It's quite a nice, enjoyable game. Something that's quick to pick-up, play a round or two of career, and put down to keep playing later.

Limit TDP to 8 watts.
I have used Lutris to run the game from the Epic Games Store, as I do not own the game on steam, only epic (it was free around christmas 2023)
