Played for a little bit less than 10 hours, game ran pretty well without having anything to do, just click, play and enjoy.
I'm playing at 3440*1440 (native screen) resolution. The only thing I did was to disable vsync, I found cinematic more smooth without it.

playing in 2560x1080, when leaving the game the desktop stay in this resolution (seems to be link to specific Proton-5.11-GE-3-MF, don't have this issue with default proton 5.0.9

The game is playable with default proton but even with my amd 5600xt the game sometimes has huge frames drop, with proton from GloriousEggroll that's really better.
Last but not least, playing with ps4 remote controller without any tricks
Works like a charm with proton 5.0-6 in 3440*1440 with high level details
Just switch from "steam linux runtime" to "proton 5.0-6" to get sound without any tricky configuration
Run as native
Everything is working very well, graphics, online and gamepad
2-3 months ago I could play normally for hours with a solid 100fps as if it was a native game with no stability problem but since a few weeks it is no longer possible to play, violent performance degradation after a few minutes and then final crash of the game
I tried to go back to old versions of proton which I know worked very well a few months ago like version 6.3-8 but it doesn't change anything. It's really frustrating to have been able to play 35h perfectly with great performance in all modes and add-ons of the game (LEGO, Fortune Island, etc.) and now to not be able to play the game at all.....
After some month (end of 2022 and early in 2023) of games crash, I'm now able to play again without any major issue
each time I launch the game I need to go to options and set fullscreen
I'm having 40hours of playing without issue and no more crash The games run well on my hardware and that's a pleasure
Can't start a new game, click on new career launch the screen of military personnal registry and the game stay on connecting database screen
Tried different proton version 5.0.9, 4.11.13, 5.11-GE-2-MF fix the audio with openal and tried with some variable at launch like large adresses but no change
Works well
Launch of the games is long due to EA launcher et the first screen to select the games can't be used with gamepad (only keyboard+mouse) but after no problem to play with gamepad.
By the way it's 3 great games and a great experience to play on linux

everything is working well, graphics, gamepad, online.... after more than 50 hours, no crash or bug, really really good gaming experience

I didn't play a lot online, just launch one time but did not play long time, so my online experience is really limited and didn't try since
After more than 35h in solo, a really great game and a really impressive experience under linux.
The rockstar launcher is not a problem and not very long to start (similar of the start to the game itself)
just work out of the box
Play some online party, no latency and all work perfectly, just not enough real players :)
solo campaign is a must to do
little sounds issues but not enough to be a real problem to play
Used with steam play out of the box but needs 'PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%' as launch option otherwise the game will stay forever at the loading screen.
Games works well but sometimes encounting issue with "ubisoft connect" :
- after some "ubisoft connect" update, should wait 2-3 days for new proton to get "ubisoft connect" functionning
- if "ubisoft connect" forget my login/password, when I launch the game and set my login/pwd to ubisoft connect, the game will not launch, I should relaunch the game to be ok (don't forget to click on "remember my credentials")
I installed the game some months ago, so no issue with installation (but seems to be an issue for new players).
