I'm pretty sure with most systems it would work fine. All Paradox games have a problem running in fullscreen on my system.
Tinker Steps:Changed configuration
Game crashes in fullscreen, and boots in fullscreen by default. Had to manually alter configuration file to launch in windowed fullscreen. This problem is most likely because I am not using a desktop environment.
