Game stuttered at first, fixed with dxvk cache provided by the community (https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/t5xrho/dxvk_state_cache_for_fixing_stutter_in_apex/). It will probably be fixed soon.
A shit ton of FPS drops when exploring, but extremely smooth when still.
Extreme FPS drops when loading world
Stuttering significantly decreased with Proton Experimental
Way better experience than running it on native Windows, played for >300 hrs
Lower input delays can be achieved than in Windows (light DE or WM, RT kernel, etc...)
Feels really smooth, high refresh rates suported (tested on 144hz)
With some tricks anybody can run Absolllute's MegaHack v5 or v6
Very laggy, at least on my hardware. Voice recognition works correctly in different languages.
Delay and laggy input (probably because of low framerate)
20 fps max with minecraft graphics
Experienced a crash when exiting the game, overall slower system because of strange cpu consumption
Didn't test on Windows
Well, it works pretty well but i needed to downgrade proton
lag spikes on proton 4.11-12
Works fine, good performance
Grass is buggy sometimes
if game is minimized on fullscreen or windowed fullscreen X-based programs will go crazy
