Works perfectly out of the box, custom songs were also just a drag/drop and unzip situation. Plays as if it was native.
As long as you add -fullscreen and use proton 5.3-GE-3-ST it should run fine. The online leader boards don't work tho.
5.9-GE-3-ST GloriousEggroll
Added "-fullscreen" to the launch options in steam, without the quotation marks.
When i ran it in fullscreen it started bugging out and wouldnt let me run the game, so run it in bordered windowless.
Online doesnt work, probably due to anti cheat.
Works great. High fps, even on high resolutions.
This game works great on proton. There were no hickups in performance until i modded it, but that is normal.
Exiting the game doesn't work perfectly, so you will have to save the game, go to main menu, and alt F4.
Booted it up real quick to see if you still had to do origin shenanigans, but its an out of the box experience now, and it just works.
It works absolutely fine. I see no reason to play this on windows instead of linux.
If you alt tab a bunch quickly, the borders will dissapear and the game will take up about a quarter of the screen. To solve this, just go into the graphics settings and switch away from fullscreen and back.
If you disconnect your controller while in game, there is no way to get it back. You will have to restart the game. It works fine if its already connected with your pc prior to starting the game though, and you can switch to keyboard to save and quit.
With Linux Mint i did have alt tabbing and sound issues, but they aren't here on KDE Neon.
