The Patch Launcher starts but fails to connect to the Patch Server
at times the launcher could find the patch server after protontricks install wininet. After that then the launcher crashed on loading a browser iframe (installing ie was impossible because 64bit prefix)
Works with old work arounds and new paladin EAC / Performance issues when opening shop/stats/ overlay windows
After latest update EAC workaround doesnt function anymore
Within 5 seconds of a online match you get kicked back to the main menu
There are a lot of steps before and you have to download 20 GB more to just get working anticheat files
Install Smite set Proton version to 4.2-9 Launch the game to instal prequesits

Wine Libraries Settings: protontricks 386360 winecfg change Windows version to Windows XP Go to Libraries tab Add these as (native, buildin):

Overwrite EAC
From the Paladins/Binaries/EasyAntiCheat/ folder copy everything except for the Certificates and Launcher folder to the Steam/steamapps/common/SMITE/Binaries/EasyAntiCheat/ folder copy both EasyAntiCheat dll files in the EasyAntiCheat folder to Steam/steamapps/common/SMITE/Binaries/Win32/EasyAntiCheat/and Steam/steamapps/common/SMITE/Binaries/Win64/EasyAntiCheat/
set Launch options to "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%" without quotes

Leaving fullscreen minimizes the game and it doesnt recover after
