The game renders blurry sometimes. Entering fullscreen fixes this
Sometimes after playing the game for a while, it starts to stutter. It's not gamebreaking or anything like that but it is visible. Most likely it is my issue since I'm running this on wayland.
Works great, no issues so far after 200h+ of gameplay. I noticed better performance on ProtonGE than experimental but I'm still new to playing on linux. On wayland the performance is still great but I noticed some stuttering when played for a longer period of time. When I was using X11, I did not have that so that's probably on wayland. Though the performance is still better than on windows

A bit worse performance than on Windows
In the beginning I played on high quality settings. The game performed okay with some stutters but nothing game breaking. Though I had 2 crashes which stopped occuring when I lowered the graphical settings. These don't occur on Windows so that might be a memory problem caused by proton.
The game does not work on Proton 9 for me (including GE). After starting a game, it hands in a loading screen. Works perfect on Proton 8. I recommend to use GE-Proton to have videos in tutorials.
Performance is great and so is the stability. The only issue I had was SMPTE color bars in place of tutorials. It's not an issue of the game as I've seen this a couple of times in other titles and from my research, using ProtonGE should fix this, however I did not try it.

but the game is not worth it trust me xD

Unsure if that's the games problem or wayland/hyprland. When switching between workspaces, the audio just stops playing. Entering pause menu and switching workspaces a couple of times fixes this.
Some flickering here and there. Nothing major. The only issue that was visibly disturbing was Radzig's model not loading the correct LOD during cutscene which resulted in a scuffed Sir Radzig with no eyebrows. That has happened only once though and I'm somewhere in the middle of the game probably.
At least once a day I'm getting a complete freeze when trying to fast travel. Completely random and I don't know any workarounds for this.
Great game, works almost smoothly. If the occasional crashes and some flickering is the price of not using windows then I'll happily pay it.

Been a week or so since I started playing, no crashes, no graphical issues. Just perfect. I tried comparing the performance to windows on day1 and did not notice any significant drops. Already forgot the performance I had on windows but from what I recall, it was exactly the same as I have on NixOS (70-90FPS on all medium)
The game is beautiful, no need to get higher settings than medium

Why would anyone launch this through proton when it's native? And how since it crashes instantly on any proton as i've tried it, my dummy realized later that it's a native game xD
Beautiful game that can be experienced natively
No issues so far and I'm moving into the summer season.
Someone complained that they have to use SMAPI for windows or anything like that. You don't. SMAPI is available for Linux and installation is as easy as it can get. Some mods do list compatibility with MacOS and Linux but most don't. I've got about 60 mods installed ranging from huge expansions like Stardew Valley Expanded, through graphical ones like Dynamic Refelctions to trivial ones like portraits. No issues whatsoever.

About 20% of drop in performance when compared to windows
Everything works perfect aside from the performance being a little bit worse than on Windows. The game has occasional hangs which are not related to proton but the game probably not using async actions. Also, if you want the videos on TV to be played, use the default DX12 mode.

I don't know how it runs when compared to Windows, but considering the performance I had in demo character creator it's pretty much the same.
