Will crash just after launching on non-standard resolutions (my screen is 2256x1504). Work around is to: set your system display to 1080p, launch the game, then while its running change your display back to what it should be. From there, fiddle with in-game display settings till it looks okay. Be sure to turn stretching off.
Only a single, weird issue: randomly (every ~4-5 seconds, more often when moving the camera) the screen will go entirely dark for half a second, except for any in-game light sources (candles, lamps, etc..) which will suddenly appear as massive, blindingly bright spots. The result is a bunch of seizure-triggering, strobe lights.
Attempting to set an in-game FPS limit results in visual stuttering and input lag. On the other hand keeping the FPS unlimited results in massive preformance issues, so much so that it takes several minutes to even get pass the Ubisoft/AMD/etc.. logos during the start-up sequence, and it freezes up entirely once actually in game.
I fixed the issue using MangoHud (an external program) to limit the FPS to 30, preformance is reasonable on lowest graphics settings but still relatively not great (I've gotten 60fps on AC:Origins with max graphics settings).
Based off other reports on here, I had to swap to Experimental to get the launcher to start
After about an hour of playtime the game begins to stutter and lag. Upon restarting the game the issue instantly disappears.
Changing any display/graphics settings causes the game to freak out, and I had to reinstall to get it to be playable again. The default settings work well enough, so after that I kept them as-is.
As plenty of others on here have mentioned, the game needs to be set to DirectX11 instead of DirectX12. What 99% of them failed to mention is how to do this! This is done inside the Eve launcher: Cogwheel in top-right -> Game client -> Select DirectX version. Hope this saves someone a headache :)
Unrelated (I think), I had to disable hardware acceleraition for the launcher to prevent it from freezing up after a few seconds. This option is also found through the cogwheel in the top-right.
Minor issues with water audio, not sure if this is Linux related, or simply Todd Howard's blessing.
