Avoid to use OSD notifications from your notebook - it can hang the game
If any OSD (i.e. brightness change) pops on the screen, the game freezes for a significant amount of time, resuming afterwards.
Ocasionally, the game can freeze when trying to change volume (OSD notifications).
Please fix your Vulkan installation or use --force-opengl and choose Proton 4.11-13 to fix audio issues. It uses Vulkan if available.
Changing to Proton 4.11-13 fixes the issue
Need to use game init option --force-opengl if Vulkan is absent or broken
Pressing any button on a G920 steering wheel locks the mouse, making the game unusable until restarting.
Stopped working after 5.2 update
The colored circle keeps spinning forever and nothing loads. Changing Proton versions does not solve the problem.
Runs again with latest Proton
It works again with latest Proton. You may need to fully quit Steam and run "unset LD_PRELOAD && steam steam://rungameid/329110" from terminal. Since Proton 4.11-13, some small glitches were noted in audio at some occasions. You cannot select Proton 4.11-13 anymore, because GoW update 5.2 broke compatibility with older versions of Unity. Select Proton 5.13-2 or greater. After running it from Steam interface again, it runs without graphic issues.
You may experience problems with steering wheel buttons. To restore, switch to other program/desktop with ALT-TAB (or your default key combination) then go back to GoW. The mouse will work again. DO NOT TOUCH THE WEEL.
Does not allow playing, only because Easy anti cheat. Must be playable without this. Reasonable FPS with GTX 1050 ti using default (medium) video settings.
Just runs out of the box, as Windows does.
