Performance is a bit low on higher settings.
Hopefully patches will increase performance. Seems to be a problem not related to the OS. On mixed settings it runs good enough, no crashes.
Proton 7 causes stuttering. Older 6.3.8 version runs fine playing on ultra settings.
FPS sometimes drop below 40 or even 30 in the late game or while there too many effects on screen. Seems server and/or engine related.
Didn´t see any major difference between Proton8 and experimental.
Playing on epic settings except shadows and effects. 1440p resolution.
FSR3 (quality), 1440p and everything on epic: ~ avg 80 fps.
Works ootb
Have been playing since months in EA and it still works fine under linux.
Runs well with few minor fps drops. Following steam discussions it´s related to the game itself.
Didnt´t test multiplayer yet. Campaign runs fine for the last two hours. Will report back if I encounter any problems. Performance on ultra and native resolution is very good (60+ fps most time).
Don´t buy it
Online play borked
It worked fine at (pre) release and now one patch killed Linux/Deck support. A week later and no statement from the devs or publisher. Feels like a scam.
The (nice) campaign alone isn´t worth spending money.
