As soon as EAC is called you're kicked out to the login screen.
As soon as the game goes looking for EAC you're kicked out to the login screen. This can take a few minutes, until then everything works fine.
Until the EAC situation is solved there is no point in even trying to run this game. This was tested on the Steam version of the game, not the Origin version.
Controller stick takes about 1-2 minutes to become detected and functional
Everything works, even the videos, HOWEVER, there is a trick to it: you can't start the game with the controller connected. If you go to training mode using only your keyboard and have no controller connected, you will notice that the videos in the moves list will play, at this time you can connect a controller, go back to the initial screen (the very first one) and your controller will be detected. After this everything will work fine until your next reboot, even if you quit the game.
Doesn't work
Tried Proton 6.3-7, Experimental and 6.20-GE-1, none was able to run the game
Stick to Proton GE and the game will work just fine. If you run the regular version of Proton the game will lock up during the intro

Just install, log in to your origin account, change whatever settings you want (except v-sync, don't touch that one) and have fun.
Don't touch the V-Sync option, if you turn it off your framerate will tank

The characters textures are messed up or missing
You can install the Windows version and the game will run out of the box without any tinkering, but there will be missing textures on character models.

Make sure you have Steam version 1730853027 or newer, it fixes the overlay issues.
