This game works as it was on windows
Had to reset graphics settings, and all other local settings(sounds, input device, preferences). Was not able to use ''guardian'' software to protect myself from cheaters. Other than these minor setup things, games actually has better perfomance for me with my actual system(which is a significant upgrade from my windows based PC) than what I've experienced for 1100 hours on windows based PC.
Install as ''native'' would launch to a quick blackscreen, then close without any report.
No try with Proton experimental. Was able to launch with Proton, older version 3.X, but with 4FPS, was not able to really play. Proton version 6, would crash with a report each time. Each new Proton selected in forces menu would require a 2,6Gb download, which is a problem on limited satelite bandwidth and DL usage.
STEAM version installed. Tried without proton, would not lauch, using steam experimental proton, works perfectly fine. Awesome game too!
Native game, run awesome
No graphic degradation at all, max graphic on megalomaniac size maps. Over 200 trains, 30 planes, 30 ships and nearly 3000 street vehicles, with lots of mods. Runs better than on my windows based PC. Love my Linux, now that I know most my favorites game, such as TPF2 runs .
