Can hear intro, but that's it
No video, can't select anything, doesn't seem to work at all.
If the menus were fixed, it would make the experience far less confusing.
Menus don't work, same as Army Men 1, so you can't see the pause menu or the help menu.
No access to the menus, so it's hard to recommend this
Menus when you die don't work, so if you press enter that'll skip whatever options there are, same with campaign buttons and things like that. Rather difficult to start / exit the game. Can't pause during missions as the menu doesn't show.
If the pause menus and mission select menus were fixed, this would be no problem!
Good overall experience, some hitches with the cutscenes causing audio sync, but it worked fine after a restart.
Some audio issues, restarting the game fixed them
Complete random shut downs, but not enough that it could have been Linux to blame
No issues playing Campaign so far!
Been playing through the veteran campaign so far, no issues to report! Stuttering here and there but to be expected. Rather smooth once it levels out.
With the FPS cap and the resolution so low, I find it hard to recommend anyone try play this on Linux
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Seems capped at 40FPS. Game Engine Resolution seems very bad
Performance not great out the box, tweaks likely required
Performance stuck at 23FPS on a 2080ti, unacceptable really
I've tried running this game, however the performance just isn't great. Recommend looking up Tweaks if you want to get it working correctly.
Game runs pretty perfectly. This is also another game which cannot run on a network share using NFS or Samba.
Audio is totally borked, can be fixed by using this launch options script in Properties WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
Have save games from Windows and I couldn't load them on Linux, had to make a whole new game.
FPS needs to be capped or else you'll have issues with physics and faces matching to voice.
Didn't seem to work with Proton, however the native version works fine.
Crashes occur if you have this game on a network share / NFS. I had to move the game to my local linux drive to get it working.
Broken Game
This game has been removed from steam anyway, it doesn't exist anymore. But you cannot install this game to a network share, else it won't load.
You also can't play, as soon as the dice rolls the game will crash.
Game will crash after playing the intros at the start. Need to use an older version of proton as native doesn't work.
Hitting launch, nothing happens
Nothing loads, no menu, press launch and nothing at all.
