Overall low FPS and Stuttering
There is a docker image which makes setting up a Linux server for this game really easy. Heavily recommend using this.
In the silver dream it seemed some of the textures were incorrectly overlapping
The game would reliably crash when entering Tiffmoor Ruins
Just save when you are in sight of Tiffmoor Ruins and don't walk into them or the game may crash. Otherwise an enjoyable experience.
I was only able to get my PS3 controller working with this version of Proton. All other versions I tested did not work.

In the BIOEngine.ini file I edited the following fields to a custom resolution
StartupResolutionX=2560
StartupResolutionY=1440
On the second to last level there was no illumination on the character models in cutscenes and during gameplay
Very infrequently the game would crash during dialog with NPCs. I just got in the habit of quicksaving before any conversation. Upon relaunching the game, following the same exact dialog choices would not trigger the crash again.
Enjoyable experience in game
During the credits roll and during a cutscene or two there would be an artifact
Very occasional crashes
The EA launcher is annoying and gets in the way
Nearly Flawless Experience, not a Single Crash
A very noticeable drop in framerate would occur for a few seconds, maybe once per hour
Plays fine, occasional stutters
Large stutters every few minutes. Still playable
Some versions of Proton have solved the crackling audio though
