Installed game via VMware on Ubuntu 21.10 and everything worked even online . Had to do this fix: mks.gl.allowBlacklistedDrivers = "TRUE" . In VMware preferences file so 3d acceleration worked on Windows 10 guest. Did some quest OS optimization because my cpu is outdated. In the end it worked at limit of cpu but very well at 1280x720 high settings.

Add PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command% to launch options. No problem with shadows with latest proton 5.9-GE-8-ST. Sometimes have problems with audio
