There's references to keyboard/buttons the deck does not have (X to interact and B to go back), but allows remapping ingame. Despite that it plays perfectly without any issues.
You might want to change the controller layout for easier use but I didn't really feel the need to
After quiting the game, if I selected continue the game would get stuck loading the save
I use lower fps by default and had to up it because the monster animations were off, otherwise great game
The game didn't launch with the default steam configuration. Had no problems once I switched to ProtonGE
The text on some signs (which sometimes include tips)
It uses the right trackpad as a mouse by default and there are some minigames where it can feel a bit clunky
Had the game locked at 30fps and had no drops but sometimes when running around the islands it stutters although the fps don't change. Except for that it runs well and idk if it's a steam deck problem or general problem
When you change your settings ingame and exit back to the main menu no input is detected and you need to restart the game
Set graphics to low and reduced render distance
Controller is not supported (yet) and sometimes buttons did not work correctly
At the latest stages of some runs when having lots of enemies and particles had a little bit of lagging, but it really didn't get in the way of the experience
Takes a while to load, specially on the first load, and the controls might take some time to get used too, but the text is perfectly readable and the game works just fine.
Game wouldn't load with default proton had to switch to experimental. It also had to redownload the executable.
Later into the game the loading screens would get longer and it crashed me once during one of them
Requires the use of touchscreen to use the menus and select objects
