Dealing with EA middleware was a little bit annoying but the whole process was very easy, game works great for Couch Co-Op
Subtitles seem to run ahead of Audio for part of the game, might be a Game bug and not a Proton issue though
Couch Co-Op worked perfectly
Easy to get going, you may have to quit and relaunch to get playing, but once it's running, it runs flawlessly
Game was a black screen with farm noises playing in the background, inputs seemed to have no effect
Epic Games Store Version
Game isn't fun, but generally works fine, lack of fun doesn't appear to be a Proton issue
Levels of Sound Effects Seemed "off", the digging sound was very, very quiet
This runs perfectly, but if you are on a steam deck, there's no controller support
-noeos -eos_disable -epicportal
Installed the game from the Epic Game Store via Heroic, then pointed Lutris at DeliverUsMars.exe in the game folder, and used the Launch options "-noeos -eos_disable -epicportal"
Epic Game Store Version: I had issues when launching form Heroic, I would get a "A D3D11-compatible GPU (Feature Level 11.0, Shader Model 5.0) is required to run the engine" error that's common with Unreal Engine 4 games. Junk Store would go to an unreal engine crash screen. Launching from Lutris, I got the same crash screen, the solution turned out to be "-noeos -eos_disable -epicportal" in the launch arguments (Thanks ChatGPT!)
Excellent, Works Great
For the GOG version, Heroic and Junk Store don't seem to work with this game. To Launch the GOG version of this game (with Ray Tracing!), 1)go to gog.com and download the "Part 1" download of the latest version of the game, it should be a small ~1 MB file, 2) open Lutris, click "+", then "Install a Windows Game from an Executable", then type in "Pumpkin Jack" for the name, click "Install", click "install" again, click "continue", click "..." and navigate to the file you just and navigate to the file you just downloaded, click install one more time 3) Now, after a few seconds, the "setup" app for the game should open, go through the prompts, and the installer will download the game, and unlike Heroic, install all required dependencies. After this, launch it thorugh Lutris, or Steam, and it should work great!
Works great, just need a mouse or touchscreen
Controller didn't work in menu, had to use Keyboard-Mouse
The game has a visual overlay of SMTP bars, which is annoying to the point of being unplayable
protontricks directshow ffdshow, winxp, windows 7 beta (tried to run l3codex but it wouldn't install)
The entire screen is covered with 50% opacity SMTP bars
Heroic, despite significant troubleshooting, does not work with this game
The Game works great for the first several minutes, then becomes unplayable after the first posession
Game Slows Down after first "Possesion" 15 minutes in
Framerate tanks after First Possession
Framerate Tanks After the First Possession ~15 minutes into the game
