Everything works smoothly

On a 4k monitor, initial boot was not the proper resolution. Changing to 1080p, booting, exiting, changing back to 4k fixed this
Had to switch to GE-Proton9-22 for the game to boot. No other version would work
No launch with experimental -> proton 4.11-13
Worked Perfectly

Game didn't start for me with newer versions of proton
Ran perfectly, no issues. Great game too!

Nothing at all to report about this one, just works perfectly and controls without a single issue.

Worked OOB
Was able to finish the game without any issues

Works perfectly out of the box
Finished the whole game no problem.

MESA_VK_WSI_PRESENT_MODE=fifo vblank_mode=3 %command%
Screen tearing without launch options

Everything works awesome out of the box, controls are adapted for a controller (so the SD works as expected), it's lightweight so it runs flawlessly and doesn't drain the battery out of the normal... It's perfect! PS: It's an incredible deduction game by the way, play it now.
Runs perfectly out of the box with default Proton
If you can't get past the title screen and it shows "Nov 2016 Demo. Version XXX" at the corner, you must add TZ=0 to the launch options
MESA_VK_WSI_PRESENT_MODE=fifo vblank_mode=3 TZ=0 %command%
Switching to another window or workspace crashes the game. This can be corrected with the following launch option: MESA_VK_WSI_PRESENT_MODE=fifo vblank_mode=3
The game wouldn't let me get past the title screen because it cannot determine my current timezone. Adding TZ=0
to the launch options fixes that.
MESA_VK_WSI_PRESENT_MODE=fifo vblank_mode=3 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Ever since the update to v1.2.120, when the developers switched from Unity 5 to Unity 2017, the game requires custom start options.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 is needed for the game to start, without it nothing will happen when you try to start the game in Steam.
MESA_VK_WSI_PRESENT_MODE=fifo vblank_mode=3 is needed to be able to alt+tab out of the game. Without these, the game crashes when attempt to alt+tab.
MESA_VK_WSI_PRESENT_MODE=fifo vblank_mode=3 %command%
I got a terrible screen tearing with this game, but it was fixed with: MESA_VK_WSI_PRESENT_MODE=fifo vblank_mode=3 %command%
Never even opened a window.
Tried Proton 7, 6, 5, Experimental, and GE, but it never even showed a window. It just quietly died during load. Instead, it worked perfectly first try with Wine, so I ended up bypassing Steam altogether. Was able to finish 100% no issues that way.
Works flawlessly
Works great, hard to believe the game isn't native.

Don't trigger the Steam Overlay! Valve, fix the Steam Overlay, it causes a different problem for every game in Proton!
Using the Steam Overlay web browser (e.g. to read the discussions for the game) causes the game to run extremely slowly upon closing the overlay, even after the web browser is closed.
If the Steam Overlay is not used, performance is perfect.
Game froze once while playing (no obvious cause) and had to be force quit.
Can't tell it isn't native
When exiting full screen, game becomes black
Game stops and shows single frame while continuing playing music; can't exit
Beat entire game with no issues
I would have believed it was native.
Switching windows froze game the one time I tried it

As with all other non-native games, run this off of a drive using the ext4 file system.

6.21-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Full playthrough from start to finish. Everything worked as expected, no issue whatsoever.
No tweaks needed, worked perfectly out of the box.
Works flawlessly

Works without problems
Some minor screen tearing due to lack of vsync
Works perfectly
Totally normal, could have been on windows.
One crash so far
