The game runs very smooth. I would not notice a difference in this game running on linux or windows
Used protontricks 1113000 wmp9 quartz devenum. Do note that the winetricks version in the debian stable repositories are outdated and will not install wmp9 on a 64 bit prefix. If you install the updated winetricks elsewhere (e.g. their github instructions) it works just fine.
The game crashes occasionally. So far 2 crashes randomly in 17 hours of play. Switching workspace while in fullscreen crashes the game, alt-tab seems fine.

Without the patch it will not run at all. If/When it gets merged in various places it should be fine for anyone.
As long as you can enjoy a game in windowed mode there are no problems.

Started the game up and played around with settings + started a new game with absolutely no problem at all.
Online multiplayer worked a year ago but did not work now, with any proton version tested.
Alt tab crashes the game, but can be circumvented with running it in a wine/proton virtual desktop.

I could previsouly connect to the multiplayer with my owd setup but for some reason could not anymore after a recent update to the game. Switching my network manager from iwd to NetworkManager solved the problem.
