Runs perfectly
Game drops out of forced full screen regularly
Played it for a long while with no issues
Runs pretty much perfect
The one single issue I've had is that when I move my mouse to my other monitor the game window jumps to that workspace with me. Has only happened in tate mode and does not recur for the rest of the session after I move the window back.
Crashed after a few minutes on experimental. Crashed on launch with 7.0-6. Has been completely stable so far on 8.0-5, with no crash after a full run.
Has no linux native version at the moment despite being listed as such
Runs fine on proton. The devs need to add an audio device selection in the options as native seems to select the wrong one.
Other than the minor inconvenience I listed, it works great
After a while of uptime on my compositor (Hyprland) the game fails to launch correctly, steam thinks it is running but nothing launches and there is no wine process. Restarting the compositor fixes this. I did a little bit of searching, it looks like it could be a wayland issue with the CAVE ports but I havent found any way to fully fix it yet.
installed gdiplus
Game stretches when fullscreen is forced, turning off start windowed in the launcher keeps the aspect ratio correct. Switching workspaces from fullscreen breaks the window and the game needs to be restarted.
luncher menus leak mouse input to things behind them
Saw this game had some missing text issues and stutter/crashing in the tutorial. With the base install I only had the missing text. After installing gdiplus with protontricks the tutorial text was fixed. I completed the tutorial just fine and then played full sequence for a while with no further issues.
Works just fine out of the box
Had to turn on FSR and frame generation to get smooth fps, which I really shouldnt need with my hardware, but I think thats on the game's optimization rather than being a linux specific issue
Recently became unplayable on keyboard, suspect Hyprland issue
Game will not tile. Tate mode likes to move outside the workspace sometimes.
Game ignores keyboard input. Clicking floating window can only drag the window.
The game used to work fine, but recently the game has become unplayable on keyboard. I have the same problems with the developer's other game Void Stranger. I've tried a bunch of fixes and havent found a fix yet, but my current assumption is that the game engine is having some sort of an issue with Hyprland or Kitty windows as both these games are the only ones I've found with tiling/forced float issues. Game is still playable with controller. I still want to come back and 1cc this eventually, so I'll try to update if I find a fix or it fixes itself later.
Works perfectly again
The issue with the game not taking keyboard input is fixed, and now tate mode works correctly too
