You need to do a little bit of tinkering to play the game. Game won't launch at first because it needs 2 DLLs installed.

Install d3dx9 and d3dcompiler_43 via protontricks otherwise the game won't run. Make sure protontricks is downloaded as a flatpak package if youre using a debian/ubuntu based distro because protontricks misbehave as a deb package, it needs to be bleeding edge as a flatpak.
Game runs perfectly when you succesfully launch the game. No stuttering, no bugs. Only there was 1 crash of the game after 5-8 hours of gameplay and that was it.
Some minor stuttering while traveling through the city, which won't be an issue for most people
Some noticeable but acceptable stuttering while using batmobile, gliding in the city etc. To reduce stuttering you can disable motion blur and enable v-sync in the graphics settings.
When you change graphical settings ingame, the game may slow down significantly when you apply those changes. Make graphical changes in the main menu and restart the game after applying the changes to avoid this.
Despite all the minor stuttering on other stuff, combat or predator events are smooth.
In the launch of the game you may see a long black screen. Wait for a bit and the game will finish launching.
A playable game
Portals are blurry and it reduces the games fps when you take a look at them.
