Works perfectly out of the box
People talkign about save lifes not working in older reviews were playing the demo version. Full versions save files work perfectly fine.
Default proton had broken leaderboards and workshop, but experimental works fine. Keep in mind tho if you switch to experimental all your settings and progress will be reset.

Mods work too https://github.com/CHollingworth/Lampray

After about 2 hours of play the performance drops drastically. Restarting the game fixes it. Not sure whats causing it.
Enabling ray tracing crashes the game
Some Nvidia GPUs, mine included, still have driver issue that makes the game freeze all the time
gamemoderun mangohud %command% --launcher-skip
Some Nvidia GPUs have some driver issues that make the game freeze all the time, this problem has been around since 1.63 and is still not fixed (https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/cyberpunk-2077-1-62-1-63-crashes/260799). Switching the kernel to LTS and older Proton-GE(unlikely has any affect) version seems to make the crashes less frequinted: upgrade from freezes every 1-5 minutes to freezes every 1-2 hours. Others also reported switching to 525 drivers seemed to help but I havent tried it myself. It's somewhat playable if you get into the habit of quicksaving every minute and dont mind restarting the game every 1-2hours.
With a different kernel I managed to get the freezing less frequinent, but its still not ideal and anoying that you need to kill and restart the game every hour or so.

Keyboard controls not showing up Fixed with this command: "echo '2C45C6: EB' | xxd -r - Cyberpunk2077.exe"
I had problems on nvidia gpu, but on radeon I have no issues.

screen space reflections have weird halo artifact around player when looking at water, turning it off fixes it
Horrible performance 20-60fps, changing graphics settings does nothing, gpu usage stays around 60-70%. Adding RADV_PERFTEST=nosam to launch options fixed it for a while 40-100fps with gpu usage jumping to around 80%ish - still not optimal. For some reason after around 1hour of play im back to 20-60fps, restarting game/rebooting doesnt make a difference.
had wayland full crash once, maybe better on x11 didnt test it yet
Online works, no big bugs or anything. The only big problem is the horrible optimization and its pretty mutch unplayable at this time.
stuck in widnowed mode
going to options menu breaks everything the button sellect sound starts looping non stop and you cant click/change anything or go back and need to kill the game
You can use the character creator if you stay in windowed mode and dont enter options menu, forcing fullscreen on launch options doesnt seem to do anything.
works out of the box
on launch there are some weird flickers but after it loads everything is fine
had issues previously but on a fresh arch install works perfectly fine out of the box
gamemoderun %command%
xbox one controller didn't work untill I disabled steam input
game sometimes just doesn't launch so need to try a few times
multiplayer works flawlesly no issues with EAC
Sometimes the game doesn't launch and you need to try a few times but besides that game runs flawlesly.
After enabling gamemode runs well maybe slightly worse than on windows but overall still very good and more than playable
Had some stuttering issues - enabling gamemode fixed it.
Had some weird engine error about a missing file address(?) pop up a few times when starting the game. Verifying game files and rebooting seems to fix it.
Overall runs well. No big issues on my setup 1080p 144hz ultra preset runs at 100fps
some audio crackling in pre-game during a transition
some chugs in pre-game/cutscenes but during gameplay its completely fine
I couldn't get native build to launch but proton version works fine out of the box
Occasional crashing but its probably not even related with linux since windows version crashes occasionally too.
If you want to run this at high/ultra settings the crashing will be very frequent.
alt-tabbing out of fullscreen doesn't really work that well
For me OBS was causing massive performance issues (not even recording/streaming anything). I gained 20-40fps overall and fixed all the stuttering when i turned off OBS completely.
Game is basically unplayable on higher graphical settings because of the frequent GFX_STATE error crashes. People point out turning down TAA reduces the frequency of the crashes but it seems more like all the settings overall. I played through chapter 1 on low settings with no problems and now trying to do the same with high/ultra mix (regardless of TAA on or off) i cant get to sadies house without a crash, sometimes i crash in the menu now. Might be something to do with VRAM but in my testing VRAM never capped out during the crashes.
6.18-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
I am using 6.18-GE-2 now but i think the other versions should be fine too.
Had weird low res textures no matter the settings - updating drivers fixed this.
After tabbing back to the game alt gets stuck - just press it again to fix it.
Had input lag with OBS running.
Had massive performance and input lag issues - OBS(not even recording/streaming) was causing it. After turning OBS completely off it solved all my performance and input lag issues.
The GFX_STATE error crashes are related to your VRAM usage. Lots of people talk about TAA causing it but in my experience its all about the VRAM. I'm not sure how it goes with other GPUs but in my case i have a 2060 6GB and as long as my VRAM usage is <5GB i haven't crashed once yet (longest I've played so far in one sitting with no crash was 3 hours with TAA on high and high/ultra mix settings). Every time its >5GB it will 100% crash within 30 minutes of playing no matter what. You could lower your settings to drop the VRAM usage or like in my case all i needed to do is close some background stuff like browser and it was enough to get below 5GB. I'm not sure if its the specific number of 5GB or is it % of your total VRAM but in my case doing this completely solved the crashing.

Its not linux specifing, but ray tracing is just badly implemented in general. Flickering on distant objects, your hair beign bright in dark places, etc. I dont recomend using it.
Nvidia hairworks dont work out of the box, I think thers already a fix for it but i couldnt be asked to bother.
Dx12 version was broken, but dx11 worked perfectly. If you force experimental proton bleeding edge beta it already has the fixes applied to make dx12 work. AMDs FX 2.0 works Nvidias DLLS works Raytracig kinda works, but its not impemented that well.
